Event Description: Most business women get a little twinge of excitement when they set off to attend some kind of networking event. Who will I meet? What will I learn? When can we do it again? Even though the answers may not be readily available, the expectations are set. Women are juggling so much between work, family and living, finding time for another event can be tedious. That event has to deliver and it has to leave those women with a feeling of fulfillment, hope and excitement. The 2014 Women Impacting the Community Celebration presented by Hendersonville Medical Center will take place on Thursday, October 23, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club. First and foremost, this event is dedicated to encouraging and empowering women business professionals to create heartfelt, meaningful relationships with one another that will in turn strengthen their communities. The evening will consist of networking and sharing opportunities, awards and a dynamic speaker. The event will also recognize five outstanding female leaders in our community. The Chamber will be taking nominations for females in the Education, Healthcare, Non-Profit, Professional and Young Professional categories. Nomination forms are currently on the Chamber website (www.hendersonvillechamber.com) or can be obtained by contacting Cassie@hendersonvillechamber.com. Winners in each category will be given advanced notice and will be recognized the night of the event. Tickets to the event will be available September 18th. General admission price is $35; Chamber member price is $25 and can be purchased at the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce.
